Politicians are puppets and the more moronic the better for the puppet masters

Have you ever wondered why incompetant people come in to places of power? Here is my view on the topic:

So how on earth do stupid people get into places of power? Perhaps it is because they are more easily controlled than people with intelligence. They're even easier to control if they can be blackmailed. In order for politicians to gain office, they must be selected by the party. Those who financially control the party ensure that only people who will carry out their wishes are allowed to stand as candidates for election. To climb to the top of the party, the individuals have to pose no threat to the puppet masters.

Democracy is a sham which is why our representatives are intellectual weaklings and morally bankrupt.Links to videos that show the undeniable stupidity of politicians (some are funny and there just for that reason)

By manipulating the controlled media, the incompetence of these puppets goes un-noticed. What i don't quite understand is, although having someone that can be pulled in any direction as your official face, allows complete control, why do theses puppets have to be such obvious simpletons . Is this faith in the mind control, or just the hidden establishment rubbing their power in our faces and taking the p!ss?The real power lets us know they are there in subtle ways if we are willing to look. But then, most people are glued to the TV and obsessed with sport/fashion, (or maybe so financially crippled unable to see beyond survival), that they actually believe the lie that we live in a democracy and are in charge of our own destinies. People don't rebel if they think they're free.
